George Evans joined LEC in 1987 becoming a Principal of the firm in 2001. He is a graduate of the BCIT Building Technology program majoring in Economics.
George has extensive experience in cost planning, contract administration, construction loans monitoring, change order negotiation, contract procedures, value analysis workshop coordination and expert witness testimony for construction disputes.
He is Past President of both the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors and the Quantity Surveyors Society of BC and continues to serve on various committees and provide mentoring to PQS candidates.

Mark Russell joined LEC as a Principal in 2006 following 15 years experience in both B.C. and the UK as a contractor’s Quantity Surveyor and Construction Manager. Mark is a graduate of the Glasgow College of Building in the Construction Surveying faculty.
Mark’s experience covers quantity surveying, construction management, project management, contract administration, scheduling, cost control, sub-contract procurement, value analysis and project reporting.
He is the Past President of the Quantity Surveyors Society of B.C., the Vice President & QSBC representative on CIQS Council and the Vice Chairman of the Public Construction Council of British Columbia.

Michael Garrett joined LEC as a Principal in 2012 after spending 14.5 years as the Senior Vice President of Development and Construction at Delta Land Development Ltd. At Delta Land, Mike was responsible for all facets of the Development Process and Project Management from budget stage, through the design process, working drawings, Construction delivery and project handover.
Mike graduated with a B.Sc in Quantity Surveying from the University of Port Elizabeth in South Africa in 1986. Prior to working for Delta Land, Mike worked as a Professional Quantity Surveyor in South Africa, the UK, USA and Canada.
Mike is the past president of the Quantity Surveyors Society of BC and served on the Council of the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors.
