LEC Quantity Surveying Inc. is a complete service, and fully qualified, quantity surveying practice, based in the Vancouver area. We have provided cost and management advice on over 1,700 projects representing over $6 Billion of construction throughout B.C., Canada and the U.S.A.
Cost planning and cost control is the foundation of the practice. We provide services for master planning, functional programming, cost planning at all stages of the design process and cost control through to completion of construction. We also provide value analysis, construction loan monitoring, life cycle costing, payment certification, change order negotiation and dispute resolution services.
Commercial, Institutional and Residential projects continue to form the majority of our practice and experience, including many of the prominent projects designed and constructed in BC.
Our principals hold the Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) designation of membership in the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS) and the Quantity Surveyors Society of B.C. (QSBC) and are also Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
George Evans is a Fellow of the CIQS, and has served as President of the Institute both Provincially and Nationally.
Mark Russell is a Fellow of the CIQS, the Past President of QSBC, the Vice President & QSBC Representative on CIQS Council and the Vice Chairman of the Public Construction Council of British Columbia.
Mike Garrett is a Fellow of the CIQS, the Past President of QSBC and Past QSBC Representative on CIQS Council.
